22 May - I’ll be at the London Wine Fair at Olympia talking and showing the new gold-medal winning English sparkling wines from the International Wine and Spirit Competition at 3pm - do join in this informal event at the large IWSC stand and see what the buzz around English fizz is all about.
Monday 29 May: I’m off to the lovely Dartington Food Festival at the shops at Dartington Hall Estate in Devon for a drinks tasting of local products. Most informal, family friendly day-out, just pop along and say hello at 3pm! For more details see
2-4 June: heading to the Taste of Grampian food festival to work alongside my former Saturday Kitchen superstar colleague chef James Martin on a series of exciting food and drink workshops and demos. I’ll be tutored gin and wine tastings, holding a dinner in conjunction with James and hosting a wonderful Sunday lunch at Banchory Lodge. Do join us for a great weekend! 9-11 June: Telegraph Prosecco Festival in the Veneto, Italy. I’m so looking forward to this - hosting a group of 50 around the beautiful region of Treviso in north-east Italy. See HERE
3-4 July: Imbibe Live - After my fascinating trip to Chile at the end of 2016, I’m joining Wines of Chile at this show in London to talk about the wines I discovered there. More details to follow.

Susy is the author of eleven popular wine and drinks books, and has won both the prestigious Glenfiddich and Lanson awards for her writing. She was co-editor of the Which? Wine Guide for several years and since then, among other books, has edited Wine Made Easy, written Wine Wisdom (Quadrille) and, for fun, penned the humorous but informative Girls' Guide to Wine pocket guide, a best-seller in several countries. Now she is the author of the new, highly acclaimed How to Make Your Own Drinks (Mitchell Beazley/Octopus Books), a recipe book of drinks-making, which follows a year of producing everything from homemade wines, ciders and spirit infusions, to cordials, tisanes and lassis, mainly from foraged and store-cupboard ingredients.
